✓Installed versions, platform components and lifecycle status.
✓Hardware, workloads and application dependencies.
✓Administrative access, permissions and security configuration.
✓Patch levels and relevant published vulnerabilities.
✓Backup coverage, resilience and recovery readiness.
✓Performance, capacity and infrastructure constraints.
✓Readiness for VCF 9 or an alternative destination.
Clear findings. Practical next steps.

Frequently asked questions

Can you support vSphere 7 and 8 environments?

Yes. Following an assessment, VLDB can provide operational management and engineering assistance for agreed components. We confirm lifecycle status, available entitlements and support limitations as part of onboarding.

Does the managed service extend Broadcom's official support?

Our service provides operational and engineering support. It does not extend Broadcom's product lifecycle or create new vendor patches. Software access, fixes and vendor escalation remain subject to product status and your entitlements.

What does wraparound protection mean?

It means bringing the agreed platform management, monitoring, incident response, security reviews, recovery assurance and supplier coordination into one managed service. The assessment and proposal define the coverage and any remaining risks.

Can you work with our existing IT team or service provider?

Yes. We can provide additional expertise, manage agreed platform responsibilities and coordinate with your existing suppliers.

Do we have to move to VCF 9?

We can help you assess VCF 9 or an alternative platform against your workloads, infrastructure requirements and commercial priorities.
